Six game nights.
Same weeknight, every week, for six weeks.

A six-week laser tag league for grades 3 to 8. One weeknight a week, three games every night, and a team waiting when they walk in.
Six weeks · One weeknight · Grades 3 to 8 · $149 per player · Columbia, MD
Same weeknight, every week, for six weeks.
Eight-minute games in rotating groups, so nobody waits on a bench.
Grades 3 to 5 play the first block, grades 6 to 8 play the second. Each block runs 90 minutes, and every player is with their own age group.
Between rounds there is time to grab a snack, swap stories and plan the next attack.
The average player stops playing team sports by age 11, according to a national survey by the Aspen Institute, and the reason they give most is that it stopped being fun. This league is built for them. The one who left the soccer team. The one who would rather be gaming. The one who has not found their team yet.
No tryouts. No bench.
No three practices a week for one Saturday game.
They already know how to play. Now they get to run.
Season one runs in partnership with Columbia Community Care, the Howard County nonprofit that gets food and essential resources to local families. Every game night doubles as a food drive. Bring a non-perishable item when you come, and the whole league helps keep their food distribution going.
We are not new to leagues. We ran youth leagues for Baltimore City Recreation and Parks five nights a week, for years. Season one brings that same game night home to Columbia.
Registration opens once the night, start date and venue are locked. Priority List families hear first, register 24 hours before everyone else, and get early-bird pricing. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
