Next Level Gaming MD LLC ("Next Level Gaming," "we," "us," or "our") provides mobile gaming and entertainment experiences across Central Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. These Terms of Service apply to every event you book with us. When you reserve a date, you ("the Client" or "host") accept the terms below. If you have a question about any of them, reach out before you book and we'll walk you through it.
Booking and deposits
A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve your date. A 50% deposit is due within 24 hours of booking to confirm and hold your date. Until the deposit posts, your date is not secured and remains available to other customers.
Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 4 or more weeks before your event, and non-refundable inside of 4 weeks. The cancellation and rescheduling rules are spelled out in full below.
Payment and final balance
Your final balance is due 24 hours before your event start time, never on the day of the event. If the final balance is not paid, we reserve the right to charge the card on file for the remaining amount.
Prices are as quoted at the time of booking. Travel fees, where they apply, are added on top of the package price and are shown to you before you book.
Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling
- 4 or more weeks before your event: cancel for a full refund of your deposit, returned within 7 days.
- Inside 4 weeks of your event: the deposit is non-refundable.
- Rescheduling inside 4 weeks, to a weekday (Monday through Thursday): 100% of your deposit applies to the new date.
- Rescheduling inside 4 weeks, to a weekend: 50% of your deposit applies to the new date, and a new deposit is required to hold it.
- Inside 7 days: we'll attempt a last-minute reschedule, but availability is not guaranteed.
Travel and service area
Travel within 29 miles of our home base in Columbia, MD (21046) is free for parties. Beyond that, a travel fee applies based on distance, and that fee is shown to you before you book. For events 45 or more miles out on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, the event price doubles to cover round-trip travel time. School and institutional events are quoted all-inclusive of travel, with no separate travel fee.
Space, access, and setup
Our game theater needs at least 60 feet of level space (about four car lengths) on a hardened surface. We may need to block a driveway to set up safely. We will not park on unsafe areas or on non-hardened surfaces, and we are not responsible for property damage that results from a parking location you ask us to use.
Indoor services like the Mobile Arena have their own space requirements, which we confirm with you before the event. Please make sure the setup area is clear and accessible when your Event Manager arrives.
Ages and supervision
Our age guidelines exist for safety and are not flexible. Game theaters serve ages 7 and up, with Power Hour available for ages 6 and up. Laser tag is for ages 8 and up. Virtual reality is for ages 10 and up, with no exceptions.
- A parent or responsible adult must be present for the entire event.
- Younger siblings may attend events other than Power Hour, but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- For guests aged 16 and up attending without a parent on site, a parent or guardian must be reachable by phone throughout the event.
- Power Hour requires a responsible adult or teen who knows the players to remain in the theater for the full hour.
Safety and conduct
Safety comes before everything else we do. Your Event Manager runs the event and may pause or end it if conduct creates a safety concern.
- Mature-rated games are not played unless you request them in writing in advance or an adult approves them at the event.
- Alcohol may be served by the Client. We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or end an event if alcohol creates a safety concern.
- Illegal drug use results in immediate termination of the event with no refund.
Food and drink
No food or drinks are allowed inside the game theater. Guests should finish any food or beverages before entering. This keeps the equipment clean and safe for every group we serve.
Weather
Our climate-controlled services run in nearly all conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule for severe weather, including flooding, snow, ice, or a National Weather Service warning. Outdoor services such as laser tag and outdoor gaming may be rescheduled for weather. When we reschedule for weather, your deposit transfers to the new date.
Internet and online gaming
We attempt to provide online gaming access at every event, but we cannot promise it, because it depends on the signal at your location. There are no refunds for poor or unavailable internet. A full offline gaming experience is always provided as a backup.
Equipment, damage, and liability
We may charge the Client for damage to our equipment caused by careless or willful acts by guests. We are not responsible for property damage that results from a parking location requested by the Client.
We assume no responsibility for injuries that occur at the event location. Responsibility for the event location and the safety of guests rests with the Client or host.
Photography and media
Your Event Manager may take photos or video at the event for marketing or training. We do not publish last names or private addresses. If you prefer that we not capture or use any media from your event, let us know before the event and we'll honor it.
Tips
Tips are appreciated for excellent service, but they are never required or expected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect for your event is the one posted on our website on the date you booked. We'll always post the current version here with its last-updated date.
