The short answer: a school Game Theater event in Maryland, DC, or Northern Virginia costs $699 to $1,099 per theater for the first two hours depending on the county, plus $299 for each additional hour per theater. School Laser Tag runs $799 to $1,299 with 18 taggers or $1,399 to $2,269 with 30 taggers for the first two hours. The RC Cars school package runs $799 to $1,299 for the first two hours. Travel is included in every county rate, there is no per-student charge, and purchase orders are accepted.
Booking entertainment for a school event usually starts with a budget number, not a phone call. Here is exactly how the pricing works for every program we bring to campuses across the DMV, with the full county tables and a few worked examples, so a field day, PBIS reward day, or PTA fundraiser can be budgeted accurately before reaching out.
How school pricing works
Every program is priced by county, not by mileage, and every county rate is travel-inclusive. The rate covers the first two hours on site with our Event Managers running every station. Additional hours are a flat add-on. There is no per-student fee, no weekend surcharge, and no fuel or mileage line on the invoice. The number you approve is the total.
Game Theater pricing for schools
Each theater is a climate-controlled 30-foot game truck with five 4-player stations, so up to 20 students play at once per theater. Students rotate through in scheduled groups, usually 20 to 30 minutes each. Run one theater, or up to three at once for up to 60 players at a time. Each additional hour is $299 per theater.

Laser Tag pricing for schools
School Laser Tag turns a gym, field, or blacktop into an arena with inflatable bunkers and trained Event Managers running every round. Choose an 18-tagger field or a 30-tagger field. Players rotate in, so a full grade can cycle through over the event. Additional hours run $349 each for 18 taggers and $699 each for 30 taggers. Laser tag is built for ages 8 and up.

RC Cars pricing for schools
The RC Cars school package is one fixed package: a staffed 8-car track set up on your blacktop, field, or gym floor, with players rotating through in heats so the whole group gets track time. It fits inside a class period or a full field day. The county base covers the first two hours and each additional hour is $349. There is no package selection to make.

How many students can you serve?
Game Theaters serve the most students per hour. With three theaters running and 20 to 30 minute rotations, a two-hour window covers several hundred students. Laser tag runs on an 18 or 30 tagger field with players rotating in between rounds. RC Cars runs 8 drivers per heat. For most elementary and middle school events, one theater per 100 to 150 students in a two-hour window keeps rotations short. Tell us your headcount and the time window on the quote form and we will recommend the count.
How booking works
- Request a quote on the schools page. It asks for the school name, county, programs of interest, approximate participant count, event length, grade levels, and preferred date.
- Review the quote. It matches the county rate above plus any additional hours. Nothing else is added.
- Send the purchase order, or pay by card if that is faster for your office. We provide a Certificate of Insurance naming your school or district and a W-9 on request.
- Confirm logistics. Before the date we confirm parking or setup space, indoor or outdoor plans, and the rotation schedule with your point of contact.
Lead time and peak dates
End-of-year celebrations, spring and fall festivals, and incentive days fill early. A few weeks of lead time is comfortable for a normal date. For late May and early June, reach out in March or April so PO approval on your district's timeline does not push past the date you want.
What to have ready before you ask for a quote
- County and school name
- Approximate number of students taking part
- Event length in hours, two to eight
- Grade levels
- Preferred date and an alternate
- Indoor or outdoor space available, and whether a gym or field is an option for laser tag or RC Cars
The honest bottom line: the county rate and the additional-hour charge are the only two numbers that move the price. Student count changes how many theaters or how many hours are worth booking, not the rate itself. Pull the number for your county from the tables above, add hours if you need them, and that is the total you will see on the quote.
